A. Double Overhand Loop
E. HALF BLOOD KNOT
Use this simple knot for attaching swivels hooks legers but remember this is a twister so at least six twists to stop slippage!
Use this to make loops in hooklenghts or mainline. This is a reliable little knot.
B. Whipping Knot
This is used to tie on spade end hooks. Make a loop and lay it against the hook leaving 6cm end free. Wrap the free end round the loop at least six times and pass it through the loop wet your line and apply even pressure and this is the result.
C. Water Knot
An excellent knot for line to line and attaching hooklengths a small versitile and neat strong knot
D. Tucked Half Blood
A stronger version of the cheeky half blood knot it has the same application as the half blood knot but is very much stronger so a better more reliable knot all round.
F. Loop to Loop
A simple knot used to attach looklengths to the mainline but this knot does tend to attract the old green trout (weed) but never the less a good knot to use in waters with little weed at all.
