Castaway Lake 1 is approx. 5 acres in size and is fed by a small stream. The features of this lake are over hanging trees, lily pads and reed beds. The lake is believed to be over 1000 years old and is shown on all good maps.
There are two double swims and one single swim, set in amongst the trees and as we only have 5 anglers at a time each angler has plenty of lake to themselves. There is plenty of wildlife around the lake, and you may occasionally see a deer or two along with buzzards and kingfishers.The lake is stocked with a good head of commons, mirrors and grass carp to 50lb and catfish in excess of 80lb. To give you even more variety and 'exotic' photos to show your friends, we also have Silver carp the largest weighing 60lbs. Set in the beautiful French countryside. 11 acres in size and nestled amongst fields and forest sits Castaway Lake 2. If you enjoy wildlife, peace and quiet, then this is your dream lake. We have decided to give you a choice on this lake, as we know that there are a lot of anglers who prefer to use their own equipment, so if you prefer to bring and use your own bivvy etc then you can, or alternatively you can hire it all from us.
The lake has two double swims, one single and one treble swim, which are within walking distance of the 2 caravans.
We introduced to the original stock in the lake 4 tonne of common and mirror carp to 50lb+ and catfish to just over 100lb for our 2006 season and another 50 carp ranging from 18lbs to 30lbs and 50 catfish between 20lbs and 85lbs for our 2007season

Set in a valley of stunning French tranquillity you will find Castaway Lake 3. This lake is 4.5 acres in size and is surrounded by forests and fields. It has 4 large single wood chipped swims, where on your arrival you will find your bivvy, etc already erected and waiting for you, also all the tackle you will need, and it is all included in the price. The catfish range from 25lb to 190lbs, and these include the outstanding Mandarin Catfish so why not take the opportunity of trying to catch one of these magnificent cats.
